TRAINING BAND

Lymington Town Band has a training wind band, for children and adults, grade 3 standard and above.  This is a great opportunity for ensemble playing in a friendly and supportive group for those wanting more instrumental experience.
You will play classic marches and hymns as well as more modern favourites, under the baton of Clive Burroughs, a talented and experienced conductor and trumpeter. There may also be an opportunity for leadership and mentoring by more experienced Band members with the new training band musicians.
Parents, you are encouraged to stay and support your child.  Adults, if you are rusty, but of a higher standard, please stay for both the training band rehearsal and then the Lymington Town Band rehearsal, from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.  Music teachers, please encourage any pupils of grade 3 standard and above to join us.

Please come along on Mondays, from 6.45pm  – 7.15pm.  We rehearse at the
Lymington British Legion, Haig House, High Street, Lymington, Hampshire SO41 9AD

A subscription is payable for both bands, details from the Secretary.
